Haiti Lifeline Mission 2016

For over a year now, I have felt the Lord leading me to serve in Haiti. My home church in Kentucky, Southland Christian, serves in Haiti nearly every month, and I am excited to be joining them on their August trip to Lifeline Christian Mission. The Great Commission states: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Matthew 28:19... I am honored to help, and hope to make this a yearly endeavor! I am hoping to fund as much of the trip myself as I can through extra work this summer, but I will still need some help - and I know God will provide.

My team will be serving August 4-13, and we will be doing many things, including:
- reaching out to the community through home visits
- participating in hands-on ministry projects (construction, painting, cleaning and more)
- worshiping with national Christians in their churches
- Teaching children or adults through devotions, Bible studies or VBS
- And more as determined by Southland Christian and their partnership with the people of Haiti
