Sunny Cosico Remembrance

Over the past week, we lost a father, husband, brother, son, and a friend. Sunny Alfred Cosico passed away on July 28, 2016 at the age of 42.
Born on March 9, 1974 to Teena Powell and the late Noriel Cosico, Sunny survived by his wife Anh;
daughter Hannah (5); son Nathan (1 ½); stepsons Jai (9) and Nik (21); stepmother Linda; brothers Jeff and
Dennis; maternal grandmother Dulce Powell.
Sunny was born in San Francisco and grew up in Daly City. We all knew Sunny as the funny quirky guy who had the biggest heart and did everything for everyone selflessly. He was a loving, faithful husband to his wife Anh, and supported her through every business or personal venture.He enjoyed traveling and exploring the world. A lover of music and animals, Sunny found peace in the beauty of nature. Always smiling, Sunny enjoyed tending to his plants, finding treasures for his kids, and finding new places to explore with his family. He was always excited to find unique treasures on Craigslist. Sunny’s family and friends brought him the greatest joy in life. He felt especially blessed to begin his own family in 2010. He took in her two sons, Nik & Jai, as they were his own and together they had added two additions Hannah and Nathan. The kids were the light of his life, and he was honestly that parent that always had his phone up to take any video or picture of them if he could. Sunny and his family lived in Union city, near his mother, who he always took care of, always stopping by to make sure she was ok. Sunny was always ready to take on new adventures and was a child at heart, never needing much, and was always so kind-hearted, always making friends with the randomest people.
His calm, compassionate, and dynamic personality will truly be missed by all who knew him.
