On Monday, October 9, 2017, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation - Office of Internal Affairs, located in Sacramento was notified that one of our own was catastrophically effected by the Napa, Sonoma, and Yuba counties fires. Special Agent John Thompson, his wife, and their two small sons (8 & 5 years old) were evacuated Monday, October 9, 2017 but lost everything.
Special Agent Thompson is part of the CDCR-OIA family, and has worked for the department for over 19 years. In this time of crisis, we want to unite to provide for the Thompson family. Any and all donations are helpful in surviving and rebuilding their lives.
