Ecuador Earthquake Relief Fund

On April 16th Ecuador experienced a devastating 7.8 earthquake. The death toll has reached over 500 and many still remain missing. Tens of thousands in Ecuador lack basic elements for survival, like fresh water, food and medicine. Efforts are underway to provide assistance to those most affected, as quickly as possible, however the needs are enormous. These needs include medical equipment such as masks, gauze, syringes, IV equipment, food, water, clothing, blankets and more.  We have organized this fundraiser to aide with these most urgent needs. Ecuador desperately needs you.  

My Name is Nicole Grenier-Ribadeneyra and I am from Springfield MA. I am raising funds for the Ecuador Earthquake Relief because I am half Ecuadorian and have a lot of family who still live in Ecuador. I have visited Ecuador and my family many times and love everything the country has to offer. It is a beautiful country with beautiful people and a rich culture. My heart hurts thinking about the hundreds of people who have lost their lives and the thousands affected by this tragedy

Funds raised from this campaign will be wired directly to the Cruz Roja Ecuadoriana and to La Iglesia Evangelica Galilea en el Exterior.  This is a church my family belongs to Guayaquil that currently has a large relief effort set up.  Members of the church are making daily trips to the most effected areas to distribute supplies I listed above.
