Blade the Ogar Polski

Hi my name is Janet Winslow.

I am raising money to purchase Blade, a professionally trained Polish Hound (Ogar Polski). Blade is being trained as a Scent Specific Trailing Dog.  After he comes home I will train him for Human Remains Detection as well.  I will use Blade to search for missing children and adults who have gone missing due to health, medical issues or age and have walked away and are not able to find their way home or can not be found using human skills alone.  Blade will also be used to search for human remains in the event that need arrises. 

I will share Blade with the community at events where you can learn what Blade and I do, learn about responsible dog ownership and see demos of Blade at work.

Your money will be used to purchse Blade.  Any excess over $15,000 will be used for Blade's expenses, equipment,  continued training and certifications.

Your monitary help is needed now.  A deposit of half his cost needs to be made soon to hold him for us until his training is finished; Blade is scheduled to finish his training in mid January 2017.  

I have been a law enforcement officer for over 34 years and have seen many times the need for a dog such as Blade.  I have been active as a Search and Rescue Volunteer for over 8 years and want to continue that service where and when I am needed.

Being able to purchase such an amazing dog would help me to continue my passion for helping others.
