My brother Fernando has been hospitalized since June 9th.  Today marks 40 days since he was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome.  His condition is extremely delicate since his case has been one of the most severe and complicated in the region.

Due to this disease, Fernando has lost mobility in his whole body and has remained in intensive care most of the time. Throughout this difficult process, Fernando has surprised his doctors with his charisma and fighting spirit. After a significant improvement, his condition got complicated when he contracted pneumonia and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS).

Today Fernando remains in intensive care and needs of all our emotional, spiritual and financial support. The money raised will be used to pay off the accumulated medical debt to-date and still growing.
