Care Package Appeal

4.2 Million Children are living in poverty in the UK.  So that's every 9 children out of a class of 30 that live in poverty ( which is insane). We know since Covid that this has increased even more and more families are struggling to make ends meet and to feed and clothe their children. Especially during the holidays now that the school meal scheme has been cut. Where can families turn to now? These children are going day to day feeling hungry and not having clean clothes to wear. We wanted to do something about this as hearing these statistics just doesn't sit well with us and we know when we all come together amazing things happen. We have started a care package appeal over on our ParentChum page where 68 of our amazing and kind followers as well as ourselves have created a box filled with foods, gifts, toys, and clothes ready for us to send on to the families and children who need them the most. We know not everyone has the time to create a care package but would still like to donate some money to make sure these families still get something special this year. Your money would go to us creating even more care packages for these families and making sure we can help support as many people in the run-up to Christmas this year. Our plan is to support the families who need it the most and to let them know there is a place that is willing to help them. Small steps to making a change are what we plan on doing with your help of course.
