Land. Arch. Internship in South Africa

On this internship that is about 3 weeks long, I will be helping to design a playground and street market vending area for the Ratang Bana Orphange in the Alexandra Township. Alexandra Township is the poorest township in South Africa and I would really like to go and help by designing this playground and street market vending area, because after we design it, we also get it to build it! 

It'll be a hard, busy 3 weeks there but I'm really excited and after praying with others, I feel like God's leading me to this. But I need your help in getting there! The program itself is $3,550 plus the plane ticket I'll need to fund myself. That's totaling around $5,000. I need at least $1,775 by April 2, 2013 as a deposit too. Lots of money in very little time, I know! But I'm confident that God will help me out with this. So if you can, even giving up $4 of getting Starbucks to help me out would be so greatly appreciated. Prayer for me to raise enough and for God's will to be done will be just as greatly appreciated too if you cannot donate. 

If it turns out that I couldn't raise enough money in time then I will be returning that money to you. If that does happen, don't consider it a loss for me. I have been seeing so much of God's love and providence that I'm happy to go for this internship even if I don't get it. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
