On the 6th of July, my Nephew Noah was viciously attacked by the family dog, a pit bull named Achillies.
The dog mauled Noah, biting his ear, bottom lip, cheek, and arm.
His arm is of the most concern. The dog bit through his muscle on the back of his arm, dislocated his elbow, severed his tendon and vien at the elbow, crushed both bones in his forearm, and took all of the muscle with it as well. He will need many extensive surgeries to fix his arm. His insurance is medicaid, with a deductable of $2,781 a month before they will cover the rest of the bills for his medicine and care for the month. That is more than his mother makes in a month, and we aren't sure what to do.
Noah's mother is a single parent, and she is devastated that this has happened. Anything that you can spare will be very appreciated.
