Skydive for Laura McAuley

We’re raising money in aid of Cancer Research UK and every donation will help to make a difference.

On the 5th March 2023 my life changed forever, I lost my wonderful wife to cancer. Laura bravely fought breast cancer since 2019, never once complained or asked for sympathy. She was always more interested in making sure everyone else was okay and being strong for all of us. We were at breaking point but Laura kept us all positive with her outlook on life. She truly was a one off and is really really missed not only by me, but by everyone that ever met her.

For the last 5 years I’ve tried to do my bit for charity to raise as much as I can and I will continue to do so as I promised Laura I would. This year it’s a bit different, Laura never showed any fear on her journey and I feel that myself and her close friends want to show that we can conquer some fears to, that’s why we have chosen to do a Skydive at Strathallan Airfield on 14th September.
