Hello Friends,
The purpose of this page is to help me raise money for my fifth and age-out year with Legends Drum and Bugle Corps. Until now I've been holding out on participating due to my financial situation persuading me not to do so. I realized that this activity is one of my passions in life and with only one more chance to do it with the family that has helped me grow into the person I am today, I am sending out a request for support.
I am currently a junior at Oakland University in Rochester, Mi studying History w/ Secondary ed. Although I am not pursuing a degree in music it still is a very important part of my life. This activity has helped me become a better learner through the wonderful staff members that instruct us. As a prospective teacher in the future, learning from them is something I would like to utilize and observe for my career. I am really bad at these kind of things so I apologize for anything that seems out of place.

"Legends Drum and Bugle Corps is a non-profit youth organization based out of Kalamazoo, Michigan. We travel and perform throughout the United States each summer, competing against some of the top marching music ensembles in the world! This summer we will be together for 66 days, traveling as far east as New Hampshire, and as far west as Minnesota, culminating in the Drum Corps International World Championships at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana."
