Help me see my Grandma

Hi! My name is Sara, I am English living in Switzerland.

My grandma, known as Betty,  has bowel cancer and recently fell at a respite home. She broke her hip but somehow managed to come through the operation, despite warnings that she wouldn’t make it.

I am not sure exactly how long she has, but I have been advised to get to her as soon as I can.

Now the “embarrassing” bit....my life fell apart over the last year and I’ve found myself with very little money. I used to fly around Europe for fun but now I can’t reach my grandma (the irony is not lost on me!)

I am seeking financial support from others to help me raise enough money to fly to England to be with my grandma, help with her care and give her a hug!
