Brittany’s House Fund

This is hard to share. It’s something I did not want to do, but because it has caused SO much hardship I feel the need to tell the story. 

In November myself, my brother and sister in law started working for a man by the name of Walt Odare. He owns Trilogy Construction LLC. Had we known what we knew now we would have never left our personal, Family owned company to work for this man.  

We succeeded well in gaining jobs for him. We did everything we were supposed to do, but we did not know we were working for a Crook. While we worked for him, he embezzled clients money without us knowing. 

We had to do the hard part, tell our clients what happened to their money and that they now needed to partner with us to file charges. This has been done and authorities have taken over. WE NO LONGER WORK FOR THAT COMPANY AND HAVE GONE BACK TO WORK WITHIN OUR FAMILY BUSINESS. We will never, EVER, work for someone again and will only stay in business with ourselves so our clients can be without fear when working with us. 

UNFORTUNATELY my cousin whose husband was a veteran and lost his life to suicide, was scammed for her money when she put down A LOT of money for the build of her new home for her and her children. 

While we are still fighting this, we unsure that her money will be recovered. I’m setting up a Go Fund me account in hopes to help her in this horrible time. If you can give any if even a little I know her and her children would really appreciate it. Below is her post⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬

It has taken me awhile to post this because I just feel really stupid but I don’t want anyone else to have to deal with what I’m dealing with currently. In October of 2020, I met with a contractor to build a new house for me and the kids. I was paying a huge cash deposit directly to him and was going to pay the house off when my current home sold. In May of 2020, my husband committed suicide due to PTSD so I received a large payment from the Army and planned on building our kids a better life with that money. I sent $88,560.00 to Walt Odare who owns Trilogy construction. Our contract states the building process was suppose to start January 6th, 2021 and nothing has been done. I was informed by his employees that Walt had taken my money and his companies money and took off with it. Walt knew exactly where all of my money came from and pretended to be sympathetic of my situation and took advantage of it in the end. He stole from not only me, but my 3 kids who just lost their father. I contacted my bank immediately after I figured out what was going on but he has already drained his bank account so there is no way for me to get my money back. I have filed a police report as well but there is really no say in if I will get the money back or not, just potential jail time for him if/when he is caught. I just wanted to encourage anyone to stay away from this man and not to do any business with him because he will definitely take your money and screw you over.
