Storm Recovery/Save the trip East

On Friday, June 18 we had a Severe storm that was one of the worst I have ever seen.  Winds destroyed many of our trees, did significant damage to roof and completely flooded our finished basement.  The greatful thing was that no one was hurt- We are ok, but funds are tough at the moment-Ins will cover most things, however I will not have funds to take my son back east this summer to visit family and friends.  The storm hit while I was 70 miles away at work and my son, Karl Bailed water for 5 straight hours in the pitch dark basement.  I came home to a young man that did everything he could to save the farmstead, but kept his mother (blind) safe and out of harms way. (no easy task)
My request is that someone could help a little so he can still go.  I hesitate to ask, as there are others in greater need.  The money is just enough to drive him to WNY and me back to ND.  Thank you.
