Banning Lewis Ranch Action Sports Park

Hello Friends, Neighbors and Riders of all ages and size!
The children, families, bike riders, skateboarders, scooter kids and roller skaters are in need of your donations. Within the Banning Lewis Ranch neighborhood of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a movement is gaining steam to build a world-class action sports park. This movement is being led entirely by teens and youth community members! Their mission is build a park that will provide a creative outlet for people of all ability levels, physical limitations and EVERY type of wheel. The group would love nothing more than to see every member of the family enjoying the park, from little sister on a scooter, brother on a BMX bike, mom on her roller skates or dad reliving his glory days on a skateboard!
Currently, the need for the park is critical. The closest comparable park is a 30 minute drive away and can be unsafe. Due to traffic concerns, there are few places in the neighborhood for a child to safely ride. Additionally, the Banning Lewis Ranch neighborhood is a lovely community with wonderful parks for young children and recreational courts for adults. There is a clear need for a location in which children 12-17 can creatively express themselves.
With the support of their families, supportive neighbors, surrounding businesses and many within the action sports community, the youth have raised a humble $3,000 dollars. In order for this project to move forward, we need to fundraise a total of $17,500.
Our funding recipient is currently our friends at the 501(c)4 Nonprofit- Banning Lewis Ranch Foundation. Their intention is that any donation made for the park will be earmarked towards the Banning Lewis Ranch Action Park. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.
