The Shrape Swimmers are a local Swimming Group that enjoy swimming every day in the sea at East Cowes. We Welcome others to come and enjoy the beauty of our local seaside spot to embrace the environment around us and to share friendship.
We are supporting the East Cowes Landslip Community Project.
The Shrape swimmers are to undertake a big challenge in swimming the distance around our Island while remaining in the waters off East Cowes while socially distancing.
Our Esplanade has suffered two Landslips in the last 6 years.
Plans have been drawn up and agreed by IWC to renovate the area subject to securing funding.
May we Humbly ask if our Community would sponsor us, Big or small in this noble quest to bring the Landslip area home to our Island Community for all to enjoy.
We hope to complete our challenge by summer 2021.
