Josh Wuerth Celebration of Life
Donation protected
Hello there friends and family, my name is Ally Hornor and I am starting this GoFundMe to help raise money for a celebration of life for our dear friend Josh Wuerth. On the morning of June 5th, the day after Josh turned 37, he lost his life in a tragic car accident.
Josh touched so many people. He touched everyone he came in contact with; through his music, glass blowing talent, expert sound and lighting, construction work, fearless shredding on the hill, stylish golf swing or simply the most incredible friend you could ever have dreamed of. Josh was truly one of a kind. We could go on and on for days talking about all the wonderful things about Josh and all that he gave to us, but now is the time to give back. Our community is left responsible to give josh a proper celebration. A celebration of life like no other, because there truly is no other person more worthy of a send off that will never be forgotten. Josh's family will be conducting their service for him back in his home town in Connecticut, so we are left with the honor and responsibility of putting on and funding his Mt. Hood celebration for his amazing life.
At this point details are up in the air for the celebration of life for Josh. We are looking to find a venue that will be able to accommodate the hundreds of people who want to come and honor our friend, brother, confidant, ambassador, favorite guitarist and gentle natured, loving, stand up guy.
We are planning on some time in July, possibly the 12th. This is coming up fast and we need you help! We want to make Josh proud with this gathering with good food and drinks, amazing music, stories, photos, movies and memories for hours.
There is a yearning inside me to do something for Josh, and this is the best thing I can think of in this moment of sadness, and I know I'm not alone. I know so many of you considered Josh to be a part of your family and this will be an amazing way to honor him.
Any left over funds will be used to create some type of music foundation so that Josh's passion for music can live on forever.
Thank you with all of my heart for taking the time to read this. Whether it is emotional or financial, any help will be greatly appreciated. Much love to all.
