In Loving Memory, Jack Picarella Always LOVED

To our friends/family we are reaching out to ask for help, love and prayers. Jack Picarella was diagnosed with laryngeal cancer at the end of September 2020, and continued fighting his battle everyday since. Because of Covid and other obstacles surgery was pushed back but our fight to get him healthy never stopped!
Finally on Thursday January 21st, he was taken into surgery which we were all told and very much believed was routine with minimal risk, and the outcome would allow him the opportunity to get on the road of recovery, and be cancer free! Jack unfortunately lost his life Friday morning at 1:15 am, and the cause of death is currently unknown pending an autopsy report.
We are heartbroken and absolutely devastated as it was never supposed to happen this way. He fought for over 10 hours in surgery which ended up being far more extensive than anyone could have imagined!

Jack was an incredible man with an amazing heart! He loved all those around him unconditionally and is already extremely missed! We will forever love him and can only wish that his death was not in vain and that we all remember and value life for just how important every second of everyday actually IS!!!
I’m asking that we come together and try to raise funds to help his family, as his wife will now be faced with the financial struggles no one was prepared for. Even if you can’t spare a dollar, your support and prayers are welcomed, as he and his family need us now more than ever!
