Help a friend with basic human needs

Hi everyone. I know that this time in our lives most of us are struggling with loss of income, Covid related illness situations and a way of life that’s not even remotely normal to what we were used to. Well my very good friend is dealing with all this as well but before Covid began she was already dealing with a burden that is beyond her control. My friend Lisa is one of the kindest, most thoughtful people I know. She has been taking care of of her elderly mom who has dementia and requires a lot of care all by herself. Lisa herself is not in great health. Her family home where she spent almost her entire life has been let go due to her being overwhelmed with her fathers passing leaving bills and caring for her moms medical needs. She cannot afford the help she needs. Her bills have piled up. The city is giving her a hard time because she needs help getting the home in order or they will not get her the medical aid she so desperately needs to help with her mother. Her bathrooms need fixing and now it’s gotten worse. Her furnace has broken and she and her mom are huddling together in a cold house with no help. The furnace alone will cost $8-10,000 dollars. Not having the income to buy that alone is devastating and add on daily bills and food and then eventually taxes due on the her childhood home are not just overwhelming but she could lose her mother and their home without help. If anyone of my friends can spare anything at all I assure you it would be greatly appreciated. I can’t believe my good friend who has always been there for me since college is having to live like this. I wish I could help her more. She is the first to remember someones birthday. She was the only friend who made it to my fathers funeral. She has donated money to animal charities in my dads name and my dogs names over the years and has always been generous even when she had not much to give. Please help me give her a little help. A sigh of relief. At the very least I want her and her lovely mom to have heat this winter. Thank you in advance for any dollar you spare. It would mean the world to me.
