Prayers and Support for My Husband

Mathew 25:35-36 - For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, (36) I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was imprisoned and you came to visit me. (40) The King will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did it for me.
My name is Ajara Ademu-John (AJ) and I am seeking your prayers and support for me and my husband Kumi. In February, 2016, my husband went for a regular check up to his primary care doctor. At the time, he weighed 249lbs. The only incident was that his sugar was very high even though he had been on Metformine and Glipizide, which are two diabetic pills. His doctor then prescribed Levermere insulin shots as an addition to the two diabetic pills he was currently taking.
This addition started episodes of light headedness, dizziness and inability and confusion which prevented him from doing his job. Despite the side effects to the drugs, he continued working for another three months until he ended up in the emergency room with hypoglycemic reaction. That was when we found out from the doctors at the hospital that it was not wise for his doctor to keep him on the Metformine and Glipizide together with the Levermere insulin shots. By this time he had lost about 40 pounds. The hospital took him off the Metformine and Glipizide and notified his primary care doctor immediately.
The consumption of all three medications over this short time (3 months) had not only caused him to lose weight but his appetite as well and caused consistent disorientation. In addition, he started having serious back pain and stomach pain, believed to be due to the side effects of the combination of meds. He would fall without warning and could hardly walk.
He has been in and out of his doctors office, the hospital and he has seen several doctors, all of them trying to get to the root cause. To date he has lost over 80 pounds and weighs about 167. He has been unable to work and cannot drive himself to his appointments. Because he cannot be left at home by himself and needs constant encouragement to eat and keep hydrated, I have had to quit my job to care for him. An MRI discovered a fractured vertebrae caused from falling and pinched nerves, which is causing him severe back pain. At this point there is a lot of complications with his health and tests are being done to check his nerve, muscle and brain.
He used up all his sick leave and vacation by the end of May as he could no longer go to work. Now, I am not working so that I can stay home and care for him. The bills are piling up with no income coming in and we are still going for test after test as the doctors are still trying to see if there are any other underlying root causes why he keeps wasting away. He cannot go back to work as he now uses a cane and needs someone to assist him when he walks due to frequent falls.
