Help me get home!!

Right here goes...

Those of you who know me well, will know how hard it is for me to reach out for any kind of help. But after some advice from close family and friends, I realise it is probably the best option at this point. 

My name is Dave, I'm an Australian that's currently stuck in the UK. I moved here 5 years ago, after my ex partner took my daughter from Australia to the UK. She was just 6 weeks old. I decided to follow them in order to be close enough to get to see my little girl, to make sure my baby girl didn’t grow up without knowing her dad. But the difficulties I've been faced with as a stranger in another country were far greater than I had ever expected... I've been able to manage on my own doing everything I could to be here for her. Unfortunately, 5 years of solicitors fees and scraping by on minimum wage have done very little except realise I need to get back to my home. The situation here with the COVID restrictions in the UK have made it financially impossible for me to carry on, and if that wasn’t enough, I now find out that the cost of the one way flights to Australia has gone up outrageously. 

I wanted to just give up but but I’ve had several people telling me to try this way . Believing there is hope.... always believing.

So this is why I'm asking if there's anyone out there that might be able to offer any kind of help or support to me get back. 

I've never done anything like this before and I'm well aware there's millions of others out there who need help, probably more than me. I feel extremely embarrassed even typing this now, but I’m totally lost and I don't know what else to do. I'm out of options. My friends say I've always been the first person to offer a hand or help others in need and I'm counting on some of that good karma coming back to help.
