Ervin Williams began his battle with cancer in the fall of 2014 after collapsing in his home due to a nasty internal bleed. Later that week he was diagnosed with a softball size gastro intestinal stomach tumor. Due to the size of the tumor and his current health condition, Ervin was placed on several different chemo drugs in hopes of reducing the size of the tumor. On may 25, 2016 Ervin underwent surgery in order to remove the shrunken tumor in his stomach. The surgery was a success and his recovery was promising. However, after a week and a half of being released from the hospital, Ervin once again collapsed in his home, in Bowling Green Kentucky. He was quickly transported to a local hospital via EMT. Once stable he was transported to Vanderbilt medical center, in Nashville TN (where he had his original tumor removal) via EMT for further observation by specialists. Doctors performed an endoscopy and determined that he developed a large ulcer that caused a massive internal bleed. After finding the source of the bleed, Ervin was placed on Protonix until his body could heal itself. As of right now he is in stable condition and we are praying for a speedy recovery!

With the help of prayers, family, and friends Ervin has kept nothing but a positive attitude throughout this process. However, due to the prolonged medical treatments and recent EMT and ER visits Ervin’s financials are dwindling.
