Support for Shuyi Liu with Parkinson’s disease

Hi everybody,
The man in the photo is Shuyi Liu, an 88-years-old widower. He has been at the very last stage of the Parkinson’s disease. The disease has had a big impact on his abilities to move, to speak, to eat solid food, and to interact with others. Three weeks ago, his condition got worse due to additional complications following the disease. Shuyi started to have more trouble with swallowing and chewing. Later the problems got even worse, causing infection and some other complications in his lungs. Right now he is being treated at the hospital and the expense drained his savings. He is also isolated in the hospital, since most of his family cannot visit him due to travel restrictions during this pandemic.
We set up this platform and hope it can help him with the expenses for medicine and the ongoing treatment. We also hope the funding can help find a professional nurse for him with his daily needs, including bathing, feeding, dressing, using the bathroom, administering medicines and basic physical therapy to improve his condition. We really appreciate anything that you can contribute to help him, and we will think of something creative to thank everybody who contributes :)
