Help F4TC rebuild their mobile kitchen.

On the morning of December 8th, 2020; the Multnomah County Sherrif’s office and the Portland Police Bureau carried out an assault on sovereign land against our community. Everything surrounding the Red House was destroyed including the F4TC mobile kitchen. F4TC provides over 60 hot meals a day to underserved and marginalized community members and posed no threat or risk to anyone. During the raid, toxic cleaning agents were poured on hundreds of pounds of food. Officers also ensured the kitchen equipment and shelter for the mobile kitchen were unsalvageable by breaking crucial elements. The act of destroying a mutual aid resource created by Black and BIPOC community members that focuses on providing hot meals to marginalized community members (largely consisting of Black and BIPOC individuals) is an attack on Black lives! . What do we do when Black lives are under attack? . Stand up fight back! . In this situation standing up and fighting back is providing F4TC with the resources to rebuild this crucial community support. . F4TC (Food for the Community) primary focus is providing hot meals to locally underserved and marginalized community members. As part of the mutual aid network in PDX, F4TC also often provides hot food for local events. . A barrier many homeless/houseless and other marginalized community members face is transportation. F4TC and partners have addressed this by delivering the hot meals and supplies directly to the people. . F4TC prepares, packages and distributes hot meals directly to the individual. . .
