Family lawyer fee please help!

Hello. MY name is Cody, and I'm looking for help raising money so I can afford a retainer fee for a lawyer in my custody battle for my 2 year old son, Jace. My ex is trying to gain sole custody of our son, which I am fighting against. I would like 50/50 custody, and would like to be able to have a voice in where and how my son is raised, as well as spend as much time as I can with him. but with the surmounting legal fees, as well as whats going on with the pandemic and employer shut downs, funds have been hard to come across to be able to secure my lawyers retainer fees. Unfortunately, I am unable to come up with the funds myself, and do not qualify for any financial assistance elsewhere. My ex has been able to apply and recieve financial aid, and I am afraid if I am unable to pay the retainer fee soon, my chances of gaining split custody for my son will be lost.
