Kamiposi art gallery/ music venue

Hello creative patrons! We are Kamiposi art gallery/ music venue. Kamiposi means Kamikaze with positivity! We are a local community based arts and music facility in Midland Texas. Currently we are the only contemporary d.i.y. art gallery/venue in our area seeking to bring new culture to our area, and we are one of the only stops for d.i.y. touring bands for hours in west texas.
Every first friday of the month we have a new art opening with different local and regional artists, and it is completely free to the public. There is always free food and beverages! Also through out the month we put on a variety of creative events, with an array of genres. Our purpose is to provide hope that being creative can also be our jobs.
Thankfully Kamiposi has been open for two years. It could have never made it this far without the love and support of everyone in our community.
But, since we are so humble and only take a small percentage from all money made, we are at a hump in the road. This month of june 2016 we have closed down for repairs and an upgrade to the facility. We were anxiously awaiting for an estimation to have a 5ton split ac/ heater unit installed in our huge warehouse style gallery. The unit itself was graciously donated to us by a kind and giving family... We have gotten the estimation back to install it and it is way out of our range to say the least! We have been without ac/heating for two years, getting by on electric heaters in the winter and a small window ac unit with fans in the summer... And dont forget folks we live in west texas where it gets over 110 degrees! plus the winters can be just as bad believe it our not! We want to provide a more comfortable atmosphere for all of the supporters...
So there is problem one. Problem two is that unfortuantely, and i am very sad to say that financially supporting the gallery the passed few months hasnt been totally sturdy. We are at a fork in the road and we wanted to reach out to everyone we know and dont know before going the wrong way. We were hoping that the install was going to be feasible and we were going to have it on its way this month before the incredible artist opening jacob hicks first friday july 1st. So thats our rough goal Friday July 1st 2016... and i know thats very very soon..
Right now we need all the ideas and support that you can provide so that Kamiposi art gallery/ music venue can be a foundation for all of us creative people. There are not many outlets in our area, so keeping art and music, plus anything creative alive in our area is really a huge struggle.
