Family! You know we always take care of our moms and dads, sisters and brothers (and nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles). And that is why we are family. Today I ask for your help in assisting my sister Michelle in a definite time of need. I know that once she finds out I am doing this, things will not end well for me (she's gonna kill me!!) but that's a chance I have to take.
We all know how hard she works and how she has held down a family single-handledly for nearly 16+ years. She takes care of herself and good care of her children and rarely seeks help from anyone. She is an island and sometimes I honestly do not know how she gets it all done! She stands alone (even if sometimes it is to get away from the rest of us crazy muthas!).
On top of it all she has held down the same career for 20 years over just 2 companies and several promotions. Well recently, and very suddenly, she finds herself out of work for the first time in her adult life. Wow! With a mortgage, car payment, light bill, two (BIG) mouths to feed, and too much pride to allow her to tell anyone my sister Michelle needs our help!
I want to help ease the worry of how her and the kids will eat this month. I am trying to raise at least some of the money she will need to meet her bills for June. That way she can have the peace of mind to find a new career and get back up.
Give what you can. Everyone that gives $5, $10, $100, or even $500 offers her breathing room and some time to get back on her feet as soon as possible. Won't you all support me in giving my sister a hand?
