MERCY NJOROGE MEDICAL FUND
Donation protected
Mercy Njoroge is an international student who came to Australia in October 2012 to study Bachelor of Nursing at the University of South Australia.
Mercy is married to John Njoroge and together they have an infant child and a teenager in high school back in Kenya.
On 3rd of May 2016 Mercy was diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer. She has been undergoing treatment at the Royal Adelaide Hospital for the last one month.
For those of you that have had the opportunity to condole with the family, they are overwhelmed by your massive support and prayers.
The journey for Mercy as an international student is a long one. Her infant child is only 6 months old and is still dependant on her. Her husband has been in Australia for only a year and can only work limited hours as per the student Visa allowance.
Mercy will continue to receive treatment for the next one and a half years. Her immunity is currently very low and doctors have ruled out her going back to work indefinitely.
Due to the difficult circumstances the family is appealing for any form of assistance, financial, emotional or otherwise.
To help support Mercy and her family, a fundraiser has been planned for the 25th June 2016, at 2.30 pm. The venue will be advised.
In the true Kenyan spirit of Harambee let us come and support this worthy cause.
