Help Mikey with recovery and chasing his dreams

For my boyfriend Michael. On October 25, 2020, on his 25th birthday he had a terrible boating accident in which he lost his thumb. Unfortunately we couldn’t find his thumb. Being a professional golfer has always been his dream since he was a little boy and he is destined to do so. He is facing a long road to recovery and he needs a reconstruction surgery in order to do so. Our main goal is to give Michael a fighting chance at not only being able to have a fully functioning hand but also continuing to chase his dreams of becoming a successful golfer one day. We are reaching out to our community of friends, family and loved ones who know Michael as well as to those who may not know him but are familiar with this extremely difficult journey. All contributions will go directly to assist Michael and help him with costs of his treatment, reconstruction of his thumb and hospital expenses. Any donation is welcome, and no amount is too small. It’s been a very sad and unfortunate accident and his family and loves ones including me are hoping to see Michael happy again and being able to make his dreams come true. You may or may not know Michael, but I know he is one of the sweetest and bravest people I’ve ever known. He has given me and my family so much and i know he deserves the best. En 25 de Octubre del 2020 ( el día de su cumpleaños) mi novio Michael Bakker tuvo un trágico accidente en el bote donde perdió su dedo pulgar. Desafortunadamente en el momento del accidente no pudimos encontrar su dedo. Ser un jugador de golf ha sido su mas grande sueño desde que era un niño. Con el fin de que Michael pueda a volver a jugar golf algún día va a necesitar hacerse una cirugía en la cual se basa en reconstruir su dedo pulgar para que vuelva a funcionar. Nuestro objetivo es recaudar dinero lo más que se pueda para ayudarle con el pago de las cirugía, los medicamentos y todos los cobros. Cualquier tipo de ayuda va a ir directamente al pago de la cirugía de Michael, cualquier monto es aceptado y no hay poquito o mucho. Lo único que deseamos la familia del Michael y yo es que vuela a ser el mismo Michael de siempre, feliz y con ganas de superarse. Michael es una de las personas más dulce y alegre que he conocido y me duele en el alma ver una de las personas mas importantes de mi vida en tanto dolor y sufrimiento.
