Boone's Travels

This is Boone, he was born on May 18,2016. He is our miracle baby. After 4 years of infertility and failed adoption tries this miracle has blessed our family. Shortly after a difficult birth Boone was placed in the special care unit of our local hospital. Within a few days they were unable to help Boone with his breathing problems. He was transferred to Wichita to the nicu where they tried to heal him. Today Boone was transferred once again to Childrens Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. He is now on a ventilator and has had numerous test, pokes and medications. Childrens Mercy is 3 hours away and it is costly for Mom and Dad to be able to be with him. Not to mention the bills that will soon be rolling in. He has had many tests and his main problem is pneumonia compounded with pulmonary hypertension that stresses and causes pressure on his heart. He is expected to be in Childrens Mercy for at least a week or more. I as his grandmother want to help. I have started this page in the hopes that some of their burden is lifted and they can focus on taking care of their little miracle. Every dollar will help. Boone has traveled far from home and needs your help.
