Baby Lorelai

Hi everyone. Lorelai Elizabeth Biernacki is coming into the world sooner than her father and I thought. Nov 5th is my induction day if my body cooperates and I’m in the hospital until then. We are able to stay at the Ronald McDonald House with our insurance help once she is born but they cannot pay us to be there. We can both take off work for a short amount of time, Thomas a week and I have to stay here with baby girl but we don’t have 4-6 weeks of money saved up to be out of work for this long. Plus the RMH is not guaranteed if they don’t have the room. They do have hotel vouchers for $55 a night but that adds up and gas adds up having to go back and forth from where we live to Chapel Hill if the RMH does not have a bed for us. She will be in the NICU for 4-6 weeks. We had started planning and saving but baby girl is coming sooner than later. No parent prepares for this and with living 2 hours away from her while she is getting her strength to come home, we hope we can reach out to family and friends for some financial help during this time.
