On October 13, 2020, my husband, TJ had a massive heart attack in our home. Paramedics were able to get him to Sierra Vista where they performed life saving measures and put him in a medically induced coma.
He was transferred to French Hospital later that night to the ICU, where he remains. They performed surgery & placed a shunt in his heart to fix a blockage they found.
October 14, 2020: He continues to be in a coma and is mildly responsive to stimulo, thiugh fairly normal. While doctors are hopeful, theres a chance hes sustained brain damage. We will not know until neurology tries to wake him up in a few days.
TJ is a well loved and amazing man. I continue to hope he will wake up and I'll get to bring him home someday. This will be incredibly expensive however long the journey is. I am taking work off to dedicdate my time to him and stay by his side. Anything helps our family.
