Hello, my name is Von and i have a friend in Gambia that I frequently send money too in order to support his family. Im currently working at a company named Legrand in Dayton,Ohio trying to get my life together. Im living with godparents but I urgently need my own place and am trying to save up to do that. But I also feel bad for not being able to help my friend enough. I also feel bas for other people that are struggling in dysfunctional nations around the world. I would like to start something where I would be able to support these people in these nations on a timely basis, probably monthly. I dont think any child deserves to starve, yet ive heard many stories and have seen many videos and documentaries that show starvation is a leading problem in many of these struggling nations. Even though I dont have much myself I would still in someway like to be able to help these people, including my friend in Gambia, his name is Tida Jaiteh. He lives with his grandmother along with his sisters, and they often ask me for money and latlely I havent had any to give them . But I do plan on sending something soon. I currently have just 100$ in my bank account . So there isnt much I can do to help anyone right now, especially with my current situation. America can be a tough place to live. Ive been homeless, ive slept on benches , ive slept on floors with roaches and bed bugs. Ive starved for weeks. And right now my godparents are all I have, I really dont have much support. But still im trying to make it on this country, im trying to achieve great things and live the life I truly want to live. There are places much worse than America, with little to no opportunity. My goal is to start my own organization or group where I can donate money to these people that starve so they can live a better life. I would keep some of the money each month to better myself and the foundation, but not half of it . More than the majority of the money would be sent to these people in African nations or people from other nations from accross the world. I am also hoping to be able recieve meals from supporters to send to the struggling familes. Im often questioning my purpose in life , but I feel like starting this foundation would atleast make me feel like im doing something important and meaningful. Hopefully I can recieve some support for this. I truly hope that I can get the support I need to start this foundation because I know what its like to starve, it is painful. Its a shame that children and many families live a lifetime of starvation and sickness. Atleast in America I have oppurtunity to try and turn my situation around. Im not sure if these nations in poverty can provide the same opportunity. I know I cant save the world but I atleast want this foundation to be something that helps others be able to buy clothes,medicine, food and other necessities on a monthly basis. Hopefully I can recieve some support , I hope to be able to make a difference in these people's lives. I sincerely hope that anyone will be able to help me in this mission to make a difference.
