Help Helga Get Back On The Road.

I've never been really good at asking for help. Let alone fundraising for over $500. Especially if it's for myself. As you all know me and LaRee where in a car accident. This resulted in my poor little car Rex, being totaled. To say I'm devastated is an understatement. Thankfully we where all ok, but I can't say the same about Rex. Sadly I was in a horrible car loan that left my insurance company only covering some of my owed loan amount. I'm still working out the details with my GAP insurance to have them hopefully cover the rest of my loan amount. This leaves me with no money to buy another reliable vehicle. I got Rex when he was practically brand new. We went 175,000 miles together and saved hundreds of animals. Transports, fire evacuations, rescue mission stake outs, Hanzel's last few car rides where hanging out the back window of Rex. There was no dirt road he wouldn't go down, and he by far was the best car I had the pleasure to own. He was my first new car, and he never let me down. I spent my last $500 on Rex the week before doing a whole tune up, just to total him the day I got him back from the shop. If I didn't total him, I'm sure we would have gone another 170,000 miles. I feel like I lost a piece of me that day he was totaled. The estimated value of Rex was $5,500. For that amount of money I could literally go by the exact same car. Ive been searching for used vehicle's with low mileage but it's pretty hard to find a good deal. I have $144 from a go fund me to buy a van placed aside for a new vehicle as well. Due to my love of rescuing animals, I've pretty much dumped my whole life savings into there care. I've offered a forever home to those who had no chance else where, and really, I'll never regret that. Until I am able to get a car Paw Squad won't be able to save more animals as LaRee will have no help down in the Fresno Clovis area. I commuted down there once a week to help out, and now with no car I cannot make it down there. I am hoping to get if not the same car, at least a bigger suv type vehicle to safety transport the animals. I don't need anything special or pretty. I just need something very reliable that won't leave me stranded with a car full of animals. If you can find it in your heart tp donate, I would be forever grateful. Any little bit helps, and all of it will go towards a new car. This car will help save the lives of many more and help me continue to do the rescue work I've devoted my life to.
