Baby Skai’s recovery

As many of you already know my daughter has recently had her second child. After her very first exciting ultrasound. She soon found out it wasn’t so exciting. She had a very large hole in her heart. As you can imagine it was devastating and hard to be excited as the worry set in. We had many of appointments following the progression and growth. We were hoping she would out grow this in time. She carried little Skai full term minus one week. Saturday September 26th she was born looking healthy as ever. It was beautiful as you can imagine. Skai got choked later in the day and was taken into nursery. Thank God she did get choked to tell us they needed to take a closer look at her heart. They ran echo testing to find she needed surgery the following day or as soon as possible. This morning at 7:30am they started open heart surgery for almost 6hrs. They repaired three areas of the heart. Leaving one small whole. My little fighter made it through y’all!! She made it. The next couple 48hrs are vital. Prayers are still very much needed. Mia is going to have a lot of out of pocket expenses. So for this reason I have decided to create a GoFundMe page. God is a great god!
