THE ONE THAT SUFFERS THE MOST IS THE CHILD

Hi everyone! I am trying to help my friend who would never ask for help herself. She is a single mom that has had a rough few years and is trying to get her child back with her for good. She has jumped through many hoops and successfully completed parenting classes, therapy, AA and has been compliant with all that has been asked of her. However, my friend is still struggling to get her baby back because she doesn't have an attorney to help her through the legal process or a car(which she has been told is now a requirement by her child's current guardian)to be able to drive her baby to doctor appointments or outings, school related things, etc. The psychological and emotional impact that being away from a mom like this and being limited to only short minimal visits despite the judge's encouragement to do overnight visits and more often is what is so sad about this. THE ONE THAT IS SUFFERING THE MOST IS THE CHILD! The child has been regressing emotionally and psychologically. Lashing out more often, having "accidents " at almost 10 years old, crying because of not being with mom, anxiety, self blame, etc. If anyone can help reunite this family it would mean the world to this family.
