Helping Hand for Baby J
Spende geschützt
The love and support that Melissa, JC and Baby J have already received has been extraordinary and beyond appreciated everyday by the whole family. Melissa says every day that she knows everyone’s love and prayers are what is getting them through this.
Baby J has filled all of our lives with love since his arrival in February. He is by far the sweetest, happiest, most laid back bundle of love most of us have ever known. And he has also now earned the title of the toughest little guy out there. Last weekend, J spiked a fever and off Mom and Dad and Baby J went to the ER – in a whirlwind of a couple of days they found themselves being told they needed to get up to the Children’s Hospital in Hartford right away. There was bacteria in his blood. Many tests and a lot of waiting later – it was confirmed - Baby J had meningitis. Melissa, JC & Baby J will be in the hospital for at least 2 weeks to receive the care and medical attention he needs. J had a procedure done to have a catheter put in to help administer his constant antibiotics, and again with everyone’s prayers he had no complications during the procedure and is still smiling away! He has been his usual smiley and happy little self in spite of everything that has been going on (in fact the whole family will always have a smile on their faces no matter what they are going through! Another reason we love them so much! )

Melissa and JC are of course right by J’s side every minute – which means at least a couple of weeks of both being out of work, and of course – there will also be the medical bills that they will be facing. Anyone who knows Melissa and JC, know that they would give you the clothes off their back if you were ever in need. No matter how big or small, whatever you need – it is never questioned. They are right there to lend a helping hand to do whatever they can and now it is our turn to return the generosity that they have shown to all of us over the years. Any donation is greatly appreciated as we help an amazing family get through a scary and very difficult time.
Thank you so much to everyone!
