Bryce was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder in September 2015. Since then he has come such a long way because we continue to advocate for him in every way possible! Bryce currently attends a special needs preschool 5 days a week where he gets speech and OT therapy. He also continues to see a private speech therapist once a week. He will start ABA therapy this summer! We know that Bryce would greatly benefit from a service dog. A service dog could help Bryce calm down when he's upset, keep him safe in public, and be a companion for him. The safety in public is a major concern for us because children on the spectrum can be impulsive and they have a tendency to wander.  He has no safety awareness and that's scary! If we did not always hold Bryce's hand he would run off and not think twice about it. We are hoping to raise the initial $5,000 and we will have a remaining balance of $5,000 we will make payments on. Thank you for taking the time to read Bryce's story!
