My dad, Gary Grimes,  has always been my rock, and now I will be his rock as he battles cancer for the second time in a year. My dad was diagnosed with throat cancer in November, and went through surgery and radiation treatment. The treatment was extremely hard both mentaly and phsically, and he is still recovering. The cancer has now moved to his lungs, the only course of action his doctor will prescribe is more radiation and chemotherapy. The prospect of going through  this treatment regement has motivated him to search out different options. The quickness that the cancer is growing is alarming and he needs to take action immediately. Travel expenses may be high and Medicare may not cover the promising treatments that he will be choosing and have the potential to help my dad fight this terrible disease.I am setting up this fund so that he will be able to fight this full force, with the treatment plan of his chosing. My father has helped hundreds and hundreds of people throughout his life through spiritual work and healing, including myself.  He is an amazing, strong  healer. It is now time for me to help him heal like he has done for so many. My dad is the most kind hearted, loving and giving person I know. If you are able to donate (even the smallest amount), please know how much it means to our family and loved ones. He needs the chance to persue other avenues of care and we need your help to see it happen.
By the way, I didn't know what amount to put the goal at and didn't want to put a cap on it. So I just picked a large amount. I really wish they had a choice to choose No set limit, anything will help.
