Bringing Westyn Home
Donation protected
Hello and welcome to my adoption journey. For the last 6 months I have been working diligently with 2 agencies and taking the steps to change my life with a new addition through adoption. Most people that know me know I don't do anything in a typical fashion, this is certainly no different. I have never been a person who knew what I really wanted in my future until this past year when I realized this would be my happy. As a single woman I truly had no idea what I was in for. I am lucky enough to have found an agency in Cortland that opened my eyes and kick started my journey.
I have been blessed to have been able to accept Xi Chen Ran into my life. He is a beautiful 3 year old boy with Cerebral Palsy and anemia. He is walking and is showing some great gross and fine motor skills. At this time he has a significant language impairment; however my career has shown me the possibilities this world has to offer a child with these types of needs. I am confident he will be surrounded by loved ones who are up for the challenge.
I still have a long road ahead before I get to bring him home. So many have asked how they can help me through this journey. When you give to this adoption fund you will be helping me bring him home and into my life. There are so many variables with adoption; agency fees, government fees, traveling fees, medical fees, and so much more as my journey has kicked in to high gear. By helping me here you will be part of his story home.
I am excited and more than ready for this. I am counting down the moments until he makes it home. As I continue through this process and anticipate bringing him home over the next year it is my hope that this page invites you to help with some of the financial challenges.
I cannot thank you enough for any help and support now and always.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart,
Sara
