Rich Brauch's Final Expenses

My brother, Rich Brauch, suffered a hemmoraghic stroke while at work Saturday. He is currently in a neurological ICU and expected to stay at the hospital 1-2 weeks before moving to an acute care facility. His outcome is not yet clear but I have high hopes that he'll pull through and come out fully functional.

The reason for this fund raising effort is that Rich had been unemployed for a couple months and barely getting by. As such, there is no nest egg from which to pay his rent or utilities. He is also without health insurance, having just recently started a new job, but we are working with the social worker at the hospital to see what can be done about his medical bills. That's why the target amount isn't astronomical - I'm just trying to ease his mind about keeping his belongings from being chucked on the curb when his rent isn't paid.

The funds raised will also help continue to pay the rent and put food on the table once he's home but not yet ready to work. This could be months from now, so every penny helps.

Thank you all so very much in advance for your support. Rich tends to feel quite alone and I think this will help to raise his spirits as well as ease his mind, allowing him to focus on recovery.
