Grey to Green

We are a charitable organization raising funds to build gardens at inner city schools.  100% of the money raised goes toward digging up nearby asphalt lots, planning the garden and paying for the excavation, soil, plants, greenhouses, sheds and other materials needed for the garden.

The project we are currently funding is taking place at a school in Savin Hill called Cristo Rey.  We are planning on digging up a nearby parking lot, and building a garden which will have a basketball court connected to it.  We are tearing down an old handicapped ramp and relocating it.  Picnic tables will be scattered throughout the garden so that the students can mingle, study or eat lunch outside.
