24 Hour Ergathon for Ukraine

We are all horrified by the events unfolding in Ukraine, and we are desperate to help those affected by the conflict in any way we can. Next week, we will be rowing for 24 hours continuously on indoor rowing machines to raise money for the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal, working with the British Red Cross.

You will be able to find us on the plaza opposite The Venue from 17:00 on Wednesday 16th to 17:00 on Thursday 17th March. We will have cash buckets and card readers for donations. You can follow our progress through the day on Instagram (@ukcrowingclub)

All the money we raise will be donated to the British Red Cross as part of the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal, and will provide food, first aid, and clean water to those affected by the conflict; repair vital infrastructure; and support hospitals and healthcare facilities. So far, Red Cross Teams have distributed over 30,000 food and hygiene parcels and provided aid to approximately 8,000 people sheltering in metro stations. We are honoured to be able to support this incredible effort and express our solidarity with the Ukrainian people through this difficult time.
