Hope for Haiti’s Returnees

We are building a bridge to connect deportees that are returning from the US to a network of loving, caring practical support. Our first step is to introduce ourselves by giving a Welcome Home Kit that will include very needed items: Shampoo, Conditioner, Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Toilet paper, Wash Cloth and a Little brown bag lunch. A Critical piece of this kit is a very simple cell phone, pre-loaded with minutes so they can immediately connect with a family member or friend upon arrival. Each packet will include a T-shirt and connection information to our organization, DipsOrg (Deportees In Progress Services Organization). DipsOrg desires to create a network of services to provide deportees with a variety of valuable information to support a positive reintegration process that leads to self-reliance and restored hope.
