La Sardine Family

For the last 22 years the family at La Sardine has brought so much joy, laughter and larger waist lines (chocolate soufflé anyone?)to the people of Chicago and all over the world. Now one of the worst health crises the world has ever seen, is also slowly devouring small businesses with extra impact on the service industry. As you all know La Sardine along with the rest of the restaurants in the city was forced to close its doors almost 6 months ago, but sadly the doors of La Sardine will remain shuttered. Now we (the staff of La Sardine) who have relied on this place we have called home to pay our bills and put food in our kids mouths are struggling. Forced to seek new employment in and industry that is now operating with skeleton crews with large percentages of industry workers still furloughed, from a hiring standpoint we are at the bottom of the list. This is why we are asking for your help during this difficult time. If you could find it in your hearts to help us, the people you have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries and other milestones with over the last 22 years. All donations will be split evenly between the entire staff. Any little bit will help. We thank you all for the memories love and joy that was spread in that wonderful place over the years.
