Jacob Barton NEEDS your help

Donazione protetta
Jacob Barton, age 21 and a new father to a beautiful baby boy, was admitted to the hospital on April 23, 2016, believing that he had a stroke. Since that day they have been ruling out various diagnosis left and right. Recently, we learned that Jacob has a rare form of cancer known as Thymic Carcinoma. There is a tumor in front of the heart which is removed via a sternotomy. There is cancer in the lymph nodes surrounding the tumor, in the lungs and abdomen which will be treated with chemo/radiation or both. Jacob suffers from seizures, memory loss and paralysis as a result of the inflammation in the brain from his body fighting and producing extra antibodies. Initially he was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis and double pneumonia. Obviously, we have uncovered the nasty truth behind his battle. We sincerely thank you for any prayers, love and support. This is not the news we had hoped for but the plan remains the same. To give strength when his has diminished. To love when he needs it the most. To fight when he feels he can not.
In addition to your love, support and prayers... This family needs your financial help with the surmounting medical bills. Please pledge your love in any dollar amount to help Lori and her family. Every little bit will make a huge difference to this derserving family.

We are ready to fight. And we are ready to beat this stupid cancer thing. Hug your babies a little tighter tonight 'cause you never know what curve ball is going to head your way. This too, shall pass.
