Chris had surgery yesterday. He is home recovering. His doctor, Dr. Sarah Richer, was a little surprised as to how invasive the mass has become. It has entangled itself into all the tissue, muscle and blood vessels in his neck so much in such a short amount of time. He is officially diagnosed with Thyroid Lymphoma. Chris and Lisa will speak with the Oncologist tomorrow and set up an appointment and lay out our battle plan. I say "our" because we're a family. This is what we expected.
