create an LGBTQIA living and community space in GJ

The queer community in Grand Junction needs more spaces where we can exist without the expectation of spending money. We need more all ages spaces where alcohol isn't the primary reason we meet and celebrate our shared experiences and sense of belonging. We need a place that can be a home when the families we were given at birth refuse to support our truths or shun parts of our existence. With the help of as many people that are willing to help as possible it's my goal to create a multi purpose living space for homeless lgbtqia+ people of all ages and and community center in Grand Junction Colorado. Never again can we let any gender nonconforming or queer person be left in the streets worrying about their next meal. We can come together and make a space where we can just exist free from the fear of judgement and persecution for existing in the world as queer people.
