Hello everyone, as many of you know by now Jeff Wilson was involved in a really bad fall and is in very serious condition. A lot of us that know and love him are looking for ways to help especially since most of us are so far away. Jeff and his wife Julie are on the beginning of a very difficult path and need all the help they can get. I thought the best way we could all help is with our prayers and financially helping the best way we can. I'll try to keep updates on this page as I receive them but please give what you can. The surgery on his wrist was successful and They took the brain drain out. Doctors do not think that he will need to have another surgery for his forehead. Sounds like he's hanging tough but is still on a long road. Keep the good vibes coming!
As of May 3...
The reports on Jeffrey today have been positive! Jeffrey is still not awake, but he has given them signs that he is aware & can hear them.....he even squeezed Julia's hand when she asked him.....little steps but in the right direction! Please keep the prayers coming, God is hearing us & He is doing great things!

Thank you to everyone who has been praying for Jeffrey. Prayers are so very powerful, please keep them coming. came in to evaluate him. The surgery to relieve the swelling and pressure on his brain was successful from what he can tell right now. Jeffrey was off sedation for an hour and his heart rate was stable, he was moving BOTH his left and right limbs! He even arched his back, moved his head side to side, and opened his one eye. He did not respond to commands (squeeze my hand if you can hear me, etc). The doctor says it's still to soon and doesn't seem to be too concerned that he doesn't respond. It could be a number of reasons like pain meds or not understanding language because of the location of the trauma is where speech is produced. It is still to early to know whether his speech will be effected. The CT scan that was done early this morning is significantly better than the first one taken 24 hours ago. The doctor did not see any stroke activity and feels he is out of the woods in that area!! From a neurological standpoint, he feels he is ready to come off the ventilator but trauma may not be. So he is still intubated as of now. A doctor for the fractures in his face came in earlier and did not feel that surgery was necessary because his injuries are so severe and bones are shattered. Neuro is recommending a second opinion for his face fractures because the fracture in his forehead could affect his brain. He still has a long way to go but this has been the most positive update yet!
