Free Lawn Maintenance for Veterans

Hello Everyone,
My name is Eric Demore, I am a senior in the International Baccalaureate program at Samuel Clemens High School. My goal this year is to provide free lawn maintenance for a few U.S. Veterans to show my grateful appreciation of their service for this country. Our veterans have made huge sacrifices to protect the freedoms we all have today. My goal is to provide free lawn maintenance for five veterans, for four weeks in the San Marcos/Southern Austin area. The weekly maintenance is free and a full service which includes mowing, edging, blowing, bush-trimming, trash cleanup, weed picking, etc. Though, the lack of funds for this project greatly limits the achievability of my goal. I set my benchmark at $700, with the details on where the money is going explained below. I plan to need all of the funds, though all donations which are not used will be directly donated to the wounded warrior project, a charity dedicated to providing help to wounded U.S. Veterans through services and events.
In order to obtain equipment to provide my service, I created a presentation to attempt to convince the owner of the landscaping company I work at to lend me the equipment while it is not in use on the weekends. During my presentation, I will ask to use the equipment and truck for around 6 hours each Sunday for four weeks (5 veterans lawns each week for four weeks). I will offer to fill the truck and equipment up with gas before I return it, using the money I plan to raise solving the next challenge. I hope he agrees to allow me to borrow the equipment, though if he does not, I will have to raise even more money to purchase equipment in order to achieve my goal. Assuming he allows me to borrow the equipment and the truck, I will only need the $700 for my helpers and consumables, which are outlined here: Assuming the equipment is borrowed, I figured that it costs around $15 per house in gas for the truck and equipment, oil for the equipment, and other consumables for the equipment (such as weedeater string). If I am able to borrow the equipment I will need (15*4*5=) $300 more in order to pay for gas and consumables. Though if I am not able to borrow this equipment, I will have to increase my raised money goal to pay for it. Also, all raised money that exceeds my goal will be donated to The Wounded Warrior Project.
In order to complete each lawn in a reasonable amount of time, I am going to need help from people who have experience in lawn maintenance. I am going to ask 2 people on my crew at work to volunteer their free time on Sunday (we work Mon-Sat) for the cause or offer to pay them for their time. I am going to tell them that we are going to cut five houses each Sunday for four weeks and offer them $15 per house, which is $75 each day per helper. I will also provide Iced water and Gatorade to my helpers each Sunday as a thank you. Assuming I compensate my helpers at the suggested rate, it will cost (75*2*4=) $600, and for ice, water and Gatorade each Sunday it will cost (5+6+6=) $17 each week, or (14*4=) $68 overall. By working with others I am able to complete my goal in a more time-efficient manner and stay motivated to achieve my goal.
